About Quick Launch

Bill Clarke, President of Quick Launch Marine Surveys, has been in the business for the last 15 years. Born and raised in Port Elgin ON, on the shores of Lake Huron, Bill has spent the majority of his life on the water. He grew up honing his fishing skills on Lake Huron and the Saugeen River. He now resides in Port Elgin with his wife and young son.

As a former Insurance Adjustor, Bill has a solid understanding of the Insurance Industry and has a good working relationship with many Insurance Brokers in the Lake Huron and Georgian Bay Region. His experience has also lead to a good rapport with many marinas and marine mechanics in the area. During the infamous 2004 Florida Hurricane season, Bill travelled across the State of Florida accessing boat damage for international insurance companies.

This experience has lead him to become an expert in accessing yachts and small craft. He also has worked on many commercial vessels on Lake Huron and has ties with many salvage companies across the Great Lakes.
